"You Gotta Ho-De-Ho (To Get Along With Me)" is a 1990 song by the late singer Cab Calloway. While not originally villainous, it was later used in the Betty Boop animated short The Old Man of the Mountain, inspired on the song of the same name. In the short, the song is sung by Betty Boop and the titular Old Man, starting as a cheerful and friendly duet between the two until the Old Man of the Mountain starts being more aggressive to Betty and ends up chasing her, finally he gets captured by the animals of the forest.

The original song was performed by the late Cab Calloway & His Orchestra, the version in the cartoon was performed by Calloway as the Old Man in the Mountain and the late Mae Questel as Betty Boop.

Ah hadi hadi hadi, if you wanna be high brow

You gotta hodi ho
You gotta hadi hi
You gotta heedi hi, to get along with me

I'm running to you run
Until you learn my song
You gotta kick that gong to get along with me

You got to he-de-he
To get along with me!

[Yeah, man! How do?]

You've gotta learn my song,
I gotta learn your song,

If you do me wrong,
I'm gonna do you wrong.

You gotta kick the gong
To get along with me!

[What you gonna do now?]

[Gonna do the best I can!]

You got to hi-de-hi,
You got to hi-de-hi,

You got to he-de-he-de
You got to he-de-he-de

You gotta hay-de-hay-de-hay
To get along with hey!

[squeal]

Hey!

[squeal]

[scat singing]

When your sweetie tells you, everything will be okay,
Just...

If you feel like shoutin', advertise it just this way

[scat singing]
