It's Nature, Shit Happens is a song that was intended to appear in the season 4 finale of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, "The Nightman Cometh". The song was a part of Charlie's musical play and was sung by the play's main antagonist, the Nightman, in his attempt to explain his horrible behavior. The musical number was cut out of the episode for unknown reasons, but it was used in live performances of the play.

The song was performed by Ronald "Mac" McDonald, who in turn, is portrayed by the series' creator Rob McElhenney.

Lyrics[]

Some people are born skinny, some people are born fat
Some people are born evil with the eyes of cat

It's nature, shit happens
There's nothing you can do!
For what made Jeffrey Dahmer tick
or Hitler hate the Jews?

It's nature, shit happens
There's nothing to be done.
Pol Pot commited genocide,
Darth Vader killed for fun, fun.

Why does everybody hate me?
When will it all pass?
I'm going to bend over,
so you can kiss my balls!

It's nature, shit happens!
God made me what I am
Just like Charlie Manson, Michael Moore of Son of Sam!

It's nature, shit happens
I'm not trying to be coy!
That's just the way God made me, bitches...
That's why I sodomized that boy!
