"Señor Burns" is a song from the season seven episode "Who Shot Mr. Burns? (Part Two)" of the American animated television series The Simpsons. It is a song written by the real-life Latin-American jazz musician, the late Tito Puente, as revenge on Mr. Burns after his jazz program for Springfield Elementary School was cancelled due to Burns' actions.

It was performed by the real Tito Puente and his Latin Jazz ensemble.

Lyrics[]

Wounds won't last long,
but an insulting song
Burns will always carry with him.

So I'll settle my score
on the salsa floor
with this vengeful Latin rhythm.

¡Burns!
Con el corazón de perro {With a heart of a dog}
¡Señor Burns!
¡El diablo con dinero! {The devil with money!}

It may not surprise you,
but all of us despise you.
Please die and fry
in Hell, you rotten
rich, old wretch!

¡Adiós, viejo! {Farewell, old man!}

Other Appearances[]

  • The song was featured in the soundtrack album Songs in the Key of Springfield.
  • An extended version was featured in the album Go Simpsonic with The Simpsons.
  • The song was the final number in a Medley of Alf Clausen works conducted by Chris Ledesma at the live show concert The Simpsons Take the Bowl.
