"I Did It" is a song by Marlyn Desire for their album Story of Persephone based off the Greek myth about the seasons. The song comes from the perspective of Zeus who admits he gave Persephone to Hades without telling Demeter leading to humanity being put in peril. Throughout the song Zeus even admits he doesn't care about the dangers though he later changes his mind as he needs humanity to keep power.

No introduction, you know me
King of mythology
Gave away my Persephone
And I’m not giving an apology

Those tears from Demeter
They don’t mean a single thing to me
Hades needed a wife, a bride
I had a daughter I could toss aside

And I don’t even feel bad about it, Was bound to happen
She’s a lucky that I have her to my brother, He’s gonna love her
I did not think that she would mind
Not that it matters, cause she’s mine
I’m not ashamed ‘cus the fact is oh

I knew what I was doing
When we I made a deal
And if I’m being real

I don’t even feel bad
No no no, not today
She’s a-lucky that I gave her to my brother
He’ll love her

My little darling will be fine
Hades is not serpentine
I will gladly admit, that I did it
