"Dead Mom" is a song from Beetlejuice: The Musical, while the song tells of Lydia Deetz suffering from depression begging her late mom to contact her from beyond the grave. The song became villainized for Daria Cohen's "The Vampair" series telling of how when Duke was normal he came to hate his abusive father even more after his mother's death.
