I am probably the only one who thinks this, but I feel that all of the Advent calendars follow a similar pattern. I want to advocate for newer options. I will rank 12 songs that I would like to see featured. Feel free to add your own.
Jingle Bell Rock/Rockin' Around the Pole - This scene has become iconic since the film's release. Surprised there are hardly any recognitions of this song or scene. I am also adding Broadway's rendition of the scene, worth noting, but hardly any differences in my opinion.
Ave Maria - Song commonly attributed to Christmas, celebrating the mother of Christ himself. I prefer the Riddler's rendition of the song, even though the 2022 The Batman is considered by many as a Halloween film, not a Christmas film. However, the upcoming Batman film will likely appear in Christmas, to have something new besides "Face to Face" or "Jingle Bell (Batman Smells)" like the Christmas before.
Woodland Critter Christmas - Hands down, the best South Park Christmas Special, prefer this song over the official and longer theme of the Woodland Critter, just because of how comedic and its outro.
Monster's Holiday - Extremely underrated choice, alongside the many other Christmas Carol songs that aren't from the Muppets. Feel it will add a sense of irony since "Monster Mash" is de Halloween Song, so it will be comedic to add the monster taking over a Christmas song.
Christmas Kids - Showing a dark side many families experience during the Holidays, it'll be nice to celebrate a survivor of abuse who sang notable Holiday songs; I am sure you've heard of them.
A Christmas Obsession - Traditionally, in Valentine's, users will commonly nominate an "anti-love" song to headline for the month. Honestly, the same can be said for Christmas, so what better song than a song about a delusional stalker in the festive spirit.
The Lights Go Out - Surprisingly, there weren't that many songs for the Rat King from the Nutcracker. By far one of my favorite Christmas villains from a bizarre adaptation.
Let’s Put The Christ Back In Christmas - Not sure if this is a controversial pick, as the series has become more of a satire of US politics. But you cannot deny the popularity The Boys has in modern pop culture, and it also won an Emmy for Creative Arts.
Auld Lang Syne - Although some argue that it's another Christmas Carol, I feel it will be a great final song to celebrate New Year's. This could be replaced by any New Year's songs that had more significance, such as Midnight, The Stars And You, or New York, New York.
I'm Gonna Kill Santa Claus - Created in 2021, no recognitions since that. Besides that, most original Christmas villain songs are exteremly edgy for the most part, so something more comedic and light-heart will be nice.
The Christmas Song - I just like Invader Zim.
The Sound of Stalin - Debatable, since the song is parodying "My Favorite Things", has become considered a Christmas Song by some Christmas albums and radio stations.
If two villains villainize the same song, which clip do we put in the infobox.
Hey everyone, hope you're having a good October so far. Spooky season is here and it's a time for the Villain Song Wiki to thrive! I wanted to make an announcement about something that has come up recently.
The subject is AI songs. In the past few months, the internet has seen an influx of songs that have music, lyrics, or even vocals created/performed by generative AI. There are those who support this tool and those who are against it, each with their own reasons. The Villain Song Wiki takes a neutral stance on the topic. That said, I have considered whether or not to allow songs that heavily use AI on the wiki, and have come to this compromise:
AI songs will be allowed, BUT MUST adhere to the same rules and standards as other songs. They MUST be professionally AND officially published for download or purchase on a major music streaming platform and/or on physical media.
Additionally, articles about AI songs must adhere to the same quality, spelling/grammar, and formatting standards as all other pages on the wiki. Repeated creation of low-quality articles will still get offenders labelled as vandals and disciplined.
If vocals are performed by AI, the name of the AI software must be put as the performer.
AI songs must have the {{AI}} template on their article pages. This will put them in a category. This is so people who wish not to engage with the songs are free to avoid them if they wish.
VOCALOID songs, as well as any other songs made with similar software, are NOT to be considered AI songs. Yes the voice performing the song is a digital computer, but the software is radically different. There is enough human involvement in the creation and setup that it doesn't count as generative AI.
THIS SOLUTION IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. If something proves to not be working out or changes, the template, category, and even the songs' inclusion may be altered or removed.
Thank you, and have a good rest of your Spooktober!

Why is Take Down considered a villain song? It's sung mostly by Huntrix and it really only becomes one until the Demon versions of Zoey And Mira sing. And if I remember the rule was if the villain only sings a few lines like Oogie Boogie in This Is Halloween then it didn't qualify as a villain song.

From the administration of the Villain Song Wiki, I want to wish a joyous and beautiful Independence Day to all of our American brothers and sisters! 🇺🇸
To all the non-Americans... um... have a nice day!
I also wanted to give some brief updates and rule changes:
A solution to the issue of lyrics is still being looked into. Basically, all the alternatives we've found have involved either their own copyright issues or require users to make new accounts on another website, both things we don't want to do, so in the meantime just keep editing as usual and feel free to ask any questions!
Second, we will no longer be allowing Discussion posts that are things like "Can someone add ___ song?" or "Can you make a page for ___?". The ability to create and edit pages is open to everyone. If you have a page you want made, make it; don't ask others to do it for you.
That's about it, have a good one everybody!
